Norco/KYB has four jacks that allow a gauge to be attached
(via a special 1/4" NPT Port, drilled and tapped into the side of the jack during the assembly
process). The jacks are 12, 20, 30 and 50 ton models.
The standard 30 and 50 ton models have the port already tapped into it so one simply chooses the 76530A or 76550 bottle jacks and away you go. However, in the 12 and 20 ton models one must specify either the 76412G (12 ton) or the 76520G (20 ton). The Gauge assembly, sold separately, is model Number 78021. PLEASE NOTE - The jacks do NOT come with Gauge installed, they are SEPARATE ITEMS, YOU must install the plumbing nipple, elbow and gauge yourself. Generally it is simply a matter of laying the jack on it's side, unplugging the Allen pipe plug in the jack, installing the nipple and elbow, then screwing in the Gauge, not exactly Nuclear Science, however, the operating pressure of the jacks is 10,000 psi so the fittings MUST be cranked in fairly tight to ensure that there will be no leaks. |

The NORCO gauge listed is an American or German made,
wet-type, 4" diameter face and includes a short 1/4" high pressure Nipple and Elbow for
mounting the Gauge at the side of the jack (approximately indicated by the above graphic image). Accurate within 2 1/2 %.
It has a face plate indicating up to 10,000 PSI and a special dual range reading of
TONS OF FORCE designed for either the 12 ton or 20 ton jacks.
If using a 30 or 50 ton Norco Jack only the PSI reading is indicative of the Force created.
